‘pran pratishtha’ at the Ram temple: On Tuesday, a day after the consecration ceremony that took place on January 22, more than five lakh people went to the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, has requested that officials take measures to ensure that the crowds are properly managed so that devotees can give their prayers to Ram Lalla in a suitable manner.

The Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, made a plea to the people to act patiently and cooperate with the authorities. He stated that this would provide an opportunity for everyone to have a “darshan” of the divine.

At six in the morning, the doors of the recently built Ram temple in Ayodhya were opened to the general public. At ten o’clock in the evening, the last visitor arrived.

The Ayodhya district magistrate has dispatched magistrates to eight different locations throughout the city in order to address the issue of crowd management. The government of the state stated that there were multiple instances in which the crowd appeared to be out of control; however, members of the police force and officials promptly seized control of the situation and forced people to line up for the ‘darshan’.
