Yuvraj Singh rejects Australia for T20 World Cup final, urges Virat Kohli to dominate ICC tournament in runs

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh expects Rohit Sharma-led Team India to perform well in the T20 World Cup in Ireland on Wednesday.

The tournament opener saw co-hosts US beat Canada in a record-breaking encounter.

After multiple final appearances, India has not won a major ICC competition. Men In Blue won the first trophy in 2007 under MS Dhoni.

Yuvraj, who famously struck six sixes against Stuart Broad in the 2007 T20 World Cup, believes Rohit's team can win again.

Our World Cup 2007 final and qualifying semis experience makes me think it's simply a matter of time.We feel we can win huge events.

I think India will win if they trust in themselves and play to their abilities. Yuvraj, who attended Fan Park's New York opening, said that's what he believes.

Yuvraj chose India, the West Indies, and Pakistan over England and Australia in an intriguing final question.

India or West Indies, I hope. Pakistan 3, no Australians "Yuvraj laughed.
