Tabu celebrates that film industry is getting out of the shackles of youth centrism

Mumbai In "Vijaypath," they portrayed a young couple. Now, Tabu is reuniting with Ajay Devgn, her frequent co-star, for a more mature romance in "Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha."

The actress is pleased that modern audiences and the film industry are more accepting of such tales.

The upcoming Hindi film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, is about Krishna (Devgn) and Vasudha (Tabu), a couple who split up after Krishna gets imprisoned for murder.

When he is released from prison after 20 years, they eventually cross paths.

"As people age, their level of love and emotion changes. Everything has a place in the movie theater these days.

For such films to succeed, the director's vision, the actors' choices, the distributors' choices, and the tastes of the audience must all align," the actress told reporters in this location.

In addition to working with Tabu on movies like "Haqeeqat," "Thakshak," "Drishyam," "Bholaa," "Golmaal Again," and "De De Pyaar De," Devgn also made jokes about their extensive filmography together.

"We have worked together so much that it doesn't feel like I am working with a co-star," he said.

Devgn, who was most recently seen in period sports drama "Maidaan", also batted for movies that map the evolution of human emotions.
