Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts extensive rainfall in Kerala throughout the week.
As a cyclonic circulation forms in the southeast Arabian Sea, central Kerala is expected to get severe rains and 40 kmph winds.
A yellow alert has been issued for Ernakulam, Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad.
