Suhani Bhatnagar, a Dangal actor, has died at the age of 19.

The death of actor Suhani Bhatnagar, who had portrayed a younger version of “Babita Phogat” in the film Dangal, which was released in 2016, occurred on Friday in Delhi.

In the medical department of the AIIMS hospital, the 19-year-old actor was receiving treatment for his condition. He had been admitted to the hospital on February 7. “She was in the intensive care unit, and she passed away on February 16,” an official from AIIMS stated on Saturday.

According to the actor’s family, the funeral services for her were held on Saturday at their home in Faridabad Sector 17, where she resided. There was a fracture in her feet that she had sustained two months before, and she later had difficulties as a result of the medication that she was taking.

A P Bhatnagar, the actor’s grandpa, is quoted as saying, “There was water retention in her body, and even doctors were uncertain about what was happening.”

AIIMS officials, on the other hand, have not validated this information. Rachna Manav University in Faridabad was the institution where Bhatnagar was enrolled in order to earn a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

It was the first year of her college career, and she was concentrating on her studies completely. Despite the fact that she had opportunities to perform, we decided to let them pass her by because she wanted to finish her academics first… “In the future, she hoped to participate in a greater number of films,” stated the actor’s granddad. The deceased actor’s mother is a housewife, while her father is employed by a multinational corporation. There is a lot of difficulty in discussing it… According to the grandfather, the entire family is in a state of mourning.

The fact that Bhatnagar, who was born and raised in Faridabad, was a child model led to her being cast as the younger version of “Babita Phogat” in the film Dangal, which was directed by Aamir Khan.

It was a photographer who had approached us about the audition for the film, and she ended up getting the part. “Everything was going nicely for her,” her granddad continued to say.

The film Dangal featured Khan in the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, an amateur wrestler who instructs his daughters Babita and Geeta, who were portrayed by Bhatnagar and Zaira Wasim, respectively, to become professional female wrestlers competed on an international level. Suhani Bhatnagar, a young actress who attracted a lot of attention with her performance as a young Babita Phogat in the film Dangal, which was released in 2016, has passed unexpectedly at the age of 19.

There is currently no information available regarding the cause of her passing up. Funeral arrangements have been made for Suhani, who resided in Sector 17, Faridabad, to be cremated at the Ajronda cremation, which is located in Sector 15, Faridabad. Although she is well-known for posting pictures on Instagram, her most recent post was made in November of 2021.

Throughout the course of the campaign for “Dangal,” Suhani published a number of photographs on her Instagram account. Among these was the one in which she appeared alongside the director Nitesh Tiwari, as well as the actors Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

During the time when Suhani was traveling with the actors and director of the film, she posted a picture of herself on her Instagram feed that featured Aamir Khan and Shankar Mahadevan.
