Speaking out about her marriage to Michael Dolan, Ileana D'Cruz criticizes "people talking rubbish about her partner."

On August 1, 2023, Ileana D’Cruz gave birth to her first child. A few days later, she informed her fans of the child’s name. The actor, who presently resides in the US with Michael Dolan and their child, Koa Phoenix Dolan, stated to The Times of India in her first interview following childbirth that “postpartum depression is very real.” In response to all of the rumors surrounding her marriage, the actor claimed she is “not comfortable with people talking rubbish” about her partner or her family, but she “can handle things” that are said about her.

“Postpartum depression is very real, and nothing can prepare you for it,” stated Ileana D’Cruz. I’m happy that I had a strong support network at home and a group of medical professionals who looked out for me. Parental guilt is a real topic. I recall crying when I was alone in my room. “I know it sounds really stupid, but my son is sleeping in the other room, and I am missing him,” I said to my partner when he inquired about my condition. You experience a range of strong emotions after giving birth to a child. I’m still experiencing it. I’m appreciative of Mike’s (Michael Dolan) incredible partner. I don’t have to give explanations him. He makes me take a break and looks after the baby before I join in again.”

She hasn’t talked much about her partner on Instagram, despite posting her opinions on motherhood there. In response to a question concerning whether or not she married Michael Dolan in May 2023—as per multiple reports—Ileana D’Cruz stated, “There’s a lot of conjecture.” That’s all I have to say about it. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with a little mystery? To be honest, I’m not sure how much I want to discuss this aspect of my life. It originates from a section where I had previously discussed my relationship. The way some people discussed it back then didn’t sit well with me. I can take criticism aimed at me, but I find it uncomfortable when others disparage my partner or my family.”

Ileana was allegedly dating Sebastian Laurent Michel, Katrina Kaif’s brother, according to earlier rumors. There were dating rumors about the two after they were spotted vacationing in the Maldives with Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif.
