The daughter of Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, Sitara Ghattamaneni, talked in an interview recently about the legacy that her parents had built over the years.

Recently, actor couple Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar’s daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni opened up about living up to her parents’ legacy.

While speaking to iDream Media, 12-year-old Sitara revealed that she is still ‘not sure yet’ about what to pursue in her career, though she feels herself getting inclined toward both acting and modeling.

When she was asked about how she feels, carrying the legacy of the family as her grandfather Krishna was a well-known actor, Sitara said it ‘feels good’ to be part of such a family.

She added that “It feels really good to be able to carry this legacy forward. It feels great to be part of this wonderful family. I get asked a lot if I want to act.”.

Something I am thinking about a lot at the moment. I am into acting and modeling as well. However, I’m only 12 years old, so I am not quite sure yet.”

“She made her debut in modelling about a year ago with the jewelry brand PMJ and shared with us how her parents have been inspiration to give her best. She said, “My mom is the strict one, nanna (father) pampers me a lot. I remember when he first saw my PMJ ad, he was going to cry. Even from my mom, I feel like I got her fashion sense.

I’m pissed she didn’t save more of her clothes for me. Great she had such a fabulous career can’t believe she won Miss India. Love her Miss India photographs.”

It must be further noted from the same interview that Sitara also revealed that she and her brother Gautham are training for acting. Even though Sitara is trained in Hyderabad, her brother is in a four-year drama course at New York University.

Mahesh was last seen in Trivikram Srinivas’ Guntur Kaaram which was released for Sankranthi this year. The film clashed with HanuMan, Saindhav and Naa Saami Ranga, receiving lukewarm responses.
