Ravindra Jadeja describes father’s interview as scripted: Attempts to tarnish my wife’s image.

Ravindra Jadeja, an all-rounder for Team India, denied his father Anirudhsinh Jadeja’s accusation that the cricketer’s wife Rivaba was causing family friction. Ravindra described his father’s interview with a Gujarati daily “scripted” and said it was an attempt to “tarnish” the image of his wife, Rivaba.

Ravindra Jadeja captioned a graphic plate on his X with a message in Gujarati that read, “All the things said in the stupid interview are worthless and false. It is a one-sided tale, and I categorically deny the charges. The attempts to destroy my wife’s reputation are extremely terrible and disrespectful. I, too, have a lot to say but will not express it publicly.”

What has Ravindra Jadeja’s father claimed?
Anirudhsinh Jadeja was interviewed by Divya Bhaskar. In the interview, he stated that he has “no relation whatsoever with Ravi (Ravindra Singh Jadeja) or his wife (Rivaba Jadeja)”. “We don’t call them and they don’t call us,” he said. He further said that a conflict arose within three months of Ravindra Jadega’s marriage. “I currently reside alone in Jamnagar, and Ravindra’s Panchvati home is separate. He also lives in Jamnagar, but I haven’t seen him. I’m not sure what magic the woman has done…,” Divya Bhaskar quoted him as saying.

Anirudhsinh Jadeja also accused the Indian cricketer of not having good ties with him and his sister. “I don’t call Ravindra and don’t need him. He is not my father; I am his father. He is supposed to call me. Everything in this makes me cry. “His sister also weeps on Rakshabandhan,” he said.

Ravindra Jadeja, a star India bowling allrounder, celebrated his 15-year international career on Thursday. Taking to his official X (previously Twitter) account, Jadeja expressed gratitude for every minute of the past 15 years. “15 years of living my dream – grateful for every moment,” Jadeja posted on X.

On February 8, 2009, Jadeja made his international debut against Sri Lanka in an ODI. Following that, he played in 197 one-day matches, scoring 2756 runs at an average of 32.42 and taking 220 wickets.

The 35-year-old made his T20I debut on February 10, 2009, against Sri Lanka. Following that, he played 66 20-over matches, scoring 480 runs at an average of 22.86, while taking 53 wickets in the shortest format. Jadeja made his Test debut in 2018, against England. He has scored 2893 runs at an average of 36.16 in 101 Test innings, capturing 280 wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja described his father’s interview as “scripted” and “nonsense,” claiming it was an attempt to “tarnish” his wife, Rivaba’s, reputation.
Ravindra Jadeja, an all-rounder for India, angrily rejected the claims made by his father, Anirudhsinh Jadeja, in a recent interview with Gujarati newspaper. Ravindra described the interview as “scripted” and “nonsense,” claiming it was an attempt to “tarnish” his wife Rivaba’s reputation. “Let’s ignore what’s said in scripted interviews,” Jadeja captioned a graphic plate with a Gujarati message on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

“All of the statements made in the stupid interview are meaningless and false. It is a one-sided tale, and I categorically deny the charges. The attempts to destroy my wife’s reputation are extremely terrible and disrespectful. “I, too, have a lot to say, but I won’t say it publicly,” Ravindra, who celebrated 15 years in international cricket on Friday, added.

In an interview with Divya Bhaskar, Anirudhsinh stated that he lives a normal life apart from his son’s celebrity. Despite living near Jamnagar, where his son Ravindra owns a farmhouse, Anirudhsinh says he lives in a two-bedroom apartment. “I own some land in my village. I manage my costs from my wife’s ₹20,000 pension. I live alone in a 2BHK flat. I have a housekeeper who meals for me. I’m living my life on my own terms. Even in my 2BHK flat, Ravindra has his own room.

The senior Jadeja also accused the India cricketer of not having good ties with him and his sister. “I don’t call Ravindra and don’t need him. He is not my father; I am his father. He is supposed to call me. Everything in this makes me cry. “His sister also weeps on Rakshabandhan,” he said.

“We worked so hard to make Ravindra a cricketer. I used to make money by carrying 20-litre milk cans on my shoulder. I’ve even worked as a watchman. We are from a humble background. His sister has done even more than I. She cared for him as a mother would. However, he has not maintained contact with his sister either.”

Anirudhsinh accused Ravindra’s wife Rivaba of causing problems in the household. “Right after their marriage, there was a disagreement over ownership of Ravindra’s restaurant. She (Rivaba) instructed him to transfer ownership of the eatery to her name. As a result, they got into a major brawl. His sister assumed that he would handle things from now on and consented to sign,” he stated.

Fit-again Ravindra Jadeja is poised to return to India’s Test lineup.
Ravindra Jadeja, who hit 86 in the first innings of the first Test against England in Hyderabad, sat out the second match in Visakhapatnam owing to a hamstring injury. He injured himself while attempting a single in the second inning, which resulted in his run out.

The all-rounder is currently at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, where he has apparently regained full fitness. He is expected to be included in India’s side for the final three Tests against England.

After losing the series opener, India mounted a strong comeback to tie the five-match series. The third Test will take place in Rajkot on February 15.
