Naseeruddin Shah wants to make a ‘courageous’ religious film: The worst things to happen to humanity

Naseeruddin Shah never holds back when it comes to expressing his ideas and feelings on the subject matter, whether it be in relation to problems of social concern or matters of national significance. I believe that this is one of the most detrimental things that has ever happened to humanity, and for this reason, I believe that this is one of the most harmful things on the planet. It was in Pakistan that this movie was shot.

He closed his remarks by stating that, “Some people are attempting to do that, and gradually their numbers may multiply; however, it is still not easy to make a direct statement, and one must couch one’s message in a form that is palatable.”

Naseeruddin Shah’s Manthan premiered at Cannes
