Following the much-anticipated Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony at Ayodhya on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened his speech with the words “Ram aa gye hai (Ram has arrived)”. He stated that Lord Ram will no longer live in a tent, but rather in a magnificent temple.

Earlier in the day, PM Modi conducted the ‘aarti’ of the Ram Lalla idol at Ayodhya’s Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The prime minister presided over the unveiling of Ram Lalla’s idol at the temple.

2. During his address, he asked Lord Ram for pardon for the temple’s construction delay. “I request Lord Ram’s forgiveness; there must have been some flaws in our penance that prevented us from completing this labor for so long. That shortcoming has been overcome. “I am confident Lord Ram will forgive us,” Modi stated.

6. He said, “This is a shrine of national consciousness in the form of Ram. Ram is India’s faith and its foundation.
