One of the most long-awaited movies belonging to Thalapathy Vijay is ‘The Greatest of All Time’, aka GOAT, scheduled to theatrically release on September 5, 2024. Besides Vijay, audiences will further get to see the trailer for the film with Prashant, Prabhudheva, and Ajmal Amir.
It is an upcoming science fiction action drama starring Vijay in a dual role: that of a young man and an old man. The trailer reveals that Vijay would portray the role of an experienced intelligence agent, ‘Gandhi,’ who happens to be the best hostess negotiator, field agent, and spy. THAT IS, THEY ARE THE AGENCY’S GOAT (GREATEST OF ALL TIME). In the film, actress Srinidhi plays his wife and young Vijay plays his son. Vijay’s (Gandhi) team also includes Prashant, Prabhudheva and Ajmal Amir.
Veteran actor Mohan plays the villain in the film, who takes vengeance on Vijay and his family. The story reverses when Vijay goes to Bangkok on a mission with his wife and son, and the same events become the main story of the film.
The star cast of the film stars actress Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead role, and will also feature Mohan, Jayaram, Srinidhi, Laila, Yogi Babu and VTV Ganesh in pivotal roles.
The trailer of superstar Vijay’s much-awaited film “The Greatest of All Time” (“Thalapathy Vijay Hai GOAT” in Hindi) will be released on August 17. The announcement was accompanied by a new poster that coincided with India’s Independence Day.
This Tamil-language pan India science fiction action film, directed by blockbuster director Venkat Prabhu and produced by Kalapathi S. Agraham, Kalapathi S. Ganesh and Kalpathi S. Suresh under AGS Entertainment, is already creating a lot of buzz. The film has become one of the most awaited releases of this year.

The music of this film is given by famous composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, and its songs have already become very popular.
The film is also a special one for Thalapathy Vijay as it marks his 68th appearance as a hero. His performance this time will be regarded as one of the most important roles in his entire career. On this day of national pride, much was expected of “GOAT” with the new poster. The movie is slated to release worldwide on 5th September 2024, in both Standard and IMAX formats, with a promise to give viewers an immersive visual experience. Zee Studios will release it in North India.
