Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Minister of Agriculture for the Union of India, made the remark on Saturday that foreign forces are attempting to cause harm to the ruling party “at any cost” because they are dissatisfied with the rate at which India is expanding.
At a meeting of the state BJP working committee that took place in Jaipur, the former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh made the following statement: “Hamare virodhi — jis mein yeh sach hai ki videshi taakatein bhi shamil hain — ye hamare desh mein kaisey bhi BJP ki sarkaar na rahe.” Jis tezi se Bharat badh raha hai, ye hamare virodhiyon ko raas nahi aa raha hai. This is only a very basic example. A government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is something that our adversaries, which include foreign countries indeed, are determined to avoid at any cost. The rapidity with which India is expanding is something that our adversaries do not like. Numerous groups are making every effort to cause harm to the BJP. We have to treat them with extreme caution.
During his statements in Parliament, Shivraj insulted Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition, by referring to him as “baalak buddhi,” which means “childish.” In addition to this, he asserted that the opposition had misled about Agniveer and Minimum Support Price during the Lok Sabha elections, and that the alliance led by Congress is attempting to set up deceptive narratives that BJP workers had to be careful of.
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, a member of the BJP National Executive, stated that the outcomes of the local elections for the BJP were the consequence of various factors, one of which was the opposition’s dissemination of false information regarding topics such as reservation.
Shivraj expressed his admiration for Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma by saying, “I congratulate him from the bottom of my heart for the work that he has done in such a short span of time — he has fulfilled 45 percent of the resolutions that were included in the manifesto.”
Moreover, Shivraj heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying, “These Lok Sabha elections were chamatkari (miraculous), it has happened for the first time in 62 years that a PM has returned for a third term after completing two full terms.” Shivraj’s words were an expression of his admiration for Modi. A new chapter in history has begun. A remarkable accomplishment has been accomplished.
When asked about the Assembly elections that would take place in Rajasthan in October and November, Shivraj made the following statement in reference to Ashok Gehlot: “We used to hear about the former Chief Minister, that he is a big magician who will form the government.” The magic of the magician, however, was not successful. The people of Rajasthan proved to be the true magicians, and they gave the BJP a massive mandate so that they could win the election.
In addition to key figures such as Bhupender Yadav, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Om Prakash Mathur, and Arjun Ram Meghwal, the meeting was attended by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sharma, as well as the former Chief Minister of the state, Vasundhara Raje, and the Chief of the BJP in the state, C. P. Joshi.
