The series between India and Pakistan in 2025? The proposal that PCB has developed is a blockbuster.

In 2025, it is anticipated that Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the PCB, will propose a Twenty20 International bilateral series with India at a neutral location. On the other hand, it seems that the Pakistan Cricket Board is adamant about not moving the Champions Trophy matches to another country altogether. According to sources from the PCB, Naqvi intends to extend the invitation to India to participate in the Twenty20 series during a meeting with Jay Shah, the secretary of the BCCI, which will take place during the International Cricket Council’s annual conference in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from July 19-22.
“The proposal will be discussed during the meeting of Mohsin Naqvi with Jay Shah (BCCI secretary), with matches potentially scheduled during the free days of both teams after the Champions Trophy,” a representative from the PCB informed ANI.

During the annual conference, the discussion will be one of the primary focal points. The prospective relocation of Champions Trophy matches to a neutral venue will be discussed on the agenda, particularly in view of the concerns that have been voiced by the Indian government and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). There have been rumors circulating that the Indian squad might not be allowed to travel to Pakistan because to the political and security concerns that have been raised.
Pakistan has stated that all of the Champions Trophy matches that involve the Indian cricket team would take place in Lahore, and that the Indian squad will remain at the same hotel during the entirety of the series. Furthermore, the PCB underlined that when the team was located in a single city, it would make it easier to make thorough security measures for the squad that was traveling.
In addition, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has recently stated that it has acquired land in Lahore within close proximity to the Gaddafi Cricket Stadium for the purpose of constructing a five-star hotel. There are indications that the PCB intends to construct the hotel on its own and has the objective of completing the building by the beginning of the next year.

The new five-star hotel, as reported by sources within the PCB, will eliminate the requirement for teams to remain in accommodations that are located at a considerable distance, hence eliminating the requirement for road closures linked to security.

It is important to remember that Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the PCB, and Jay Shah are also expected to meet during the annual summit of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in Colombo. It has been confirmed by sources that Naqvi will make an effort to persuade Shah to dispatch the Indian delegation to Pakistan. Nevertheless, the Indian government, and not the BCCI, will be the one to choose the ultimate course of action.
